Accomunate dalla passione per l'arte e la fotografia hanno deciso di collaborare alla realizzazione di progetti foto-artistici.
I loro lavori sono pubblicati Online e su riviste, tra cui: Nazioni Unite, Grazia, C41 Magazine, Exibart ed Artslife.
"Il nostro intento è raccontare storie che possano essere comprese da tutti e che possano entrare in empatia con lo spettatore. Utilizziamo diverse tecniche fotografiche e di stampa.
Minimalismo, colore e linearità sono nostri elementi caratterizzanti.”
Maria Chiara Maffi nasce a Bergamo nel 1992 e vive a Milano.
Nel 2013 frequenta il corso di fotografia all’Istituto Europeo di Design a Milano.
Vince una borsa di studio presso l’Istituto RM Moda e Design (MI) e consegue un Master in fotografia diretto da Denis Curti. Partecipa a numerose mostre e premi di fotografia nazionali ed internazionali.
Artista e fotografa. La sua ricerca indaga gli aspetti della società moderna ed i legami familiari con un disorientamento tra passato e presente, in grado di portare in un luogo senza tempo.
E’ tra i vincitori della prima edizione del premio “New-Post Photography? 2020” indetto da MIA Photo Fair con il suo lavoro: “I have brown eyes”.
Chiara Giancamilli è nata a Roma il 6 agosto 1993.
Dopo aver conseguito la maturità Artistica nel 2013, si iscrive alla facoltà di Fotografia presso Rome University Of Fine Arts (RUFA) e si laurea con il massimo dei voti.
Nel 2018 intraprende un Master di Fotografia presso la Raffles Milano diretto da Denis Curti, incontra figure di spicco come: Matthias Harder e Ferdinando Scianna.
Nel 2019 ha esposto alla 7a mostra/ mercato d’arte moderna e contemporanea Pavia Art, successivamente al VeniceArt - l’Arsenale (Roncade).
Inaugura la mostra personale di MC2.8 "La trasparenza dell'immagine" a Specchio41 (BS) e viene selezionata come finalista del Premio Nocivelli con il suo lavoro: "Sei albina da sempre?"

MC2.8: Maria Chiara Maffi and Chiara Giancamilli are a creative duo born in 2018 in Milan.
What bounds them together is the passion for art and photography.
Their works are published online and on magazines, like: ONU United Nations, C41 Magazine, Exibart and Artslife.
"Our goal is to tell stories that can be understood by everyone and that can empathize with the viewer. We use different photographic and printing techniques. Minimalism, color and linearity are our characterizing elements.”
Maria Chiara Maffi was born in Bergamo in 1992.
In 2013, she attended the photography course at the European Institute of Design in Milan.
She won a scholarship at the Raffles Fashion and Design Institute of Milan and she attended a Master in photography directed by Denis Curti.
She took part in many national and international exhibitions and photography awards.
Artist and photographer. Her research investigates aspects of modern society and family ties with a disorientation between past and present, which it is able to bring to a timeless place.
She is one of the winners of the first edition of the "New-Post Photography Award? 2020” curated by MIA Photo Fair with her work:"I have brown eyes”.

In 2019 she exhibited at the 7th modern and contemporary art exhibition / market Pavia Art, later at VeniceArt - the Arsenale (Roncade).
MC2.8 solo exhibition “La trasparenza dell’immagine" opens at Specchio41 (BS) and she was selected as a finalist of Premio Nocivelli with her work: “Sei albina da sempre?”.
